Faculty are among the 1% most educated people. We constantly pursue mastery, but many of us never feel like we achieve it. We have accomplished so much yet have so much left undone. We are not alone in this. From the most acclaimed artists to the most decorated athletes, the pursuit of mastery feels ever elusive. We can learn much from them in order to better understand our own struggles with self doubt, perfectionism, overachievement, and the relentless pursuit of mastery. Join us for a book chat about Sarah Lewis' The Rise: Creativity, the Gift of Failure, and the Search for Mastery. Dr. Lewis provides a perspective that many faculty have found valuable as they seek to thrive among the elite of the academy.

The first twenty registration will receive a free copy of the book.
