    Building and Facilitating a Sustainable Module for Your Course

    Utilizing D2L for your course not only benefits the students, but it also saves faculty time. When you use sustainable course design within D2L, you will save time as you will build one course shell for all your course sections. A sustainable course can be used to teach in any modality (face-to-face, hybrid, synchronous, and asynchronous). Join us for this session as we take a deeper dive into building and facilitating a sustainable module for your course.

        Accessing & Navigating uHoo Analytics

        2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

        uHoo is KSU’s new learning analytics tool that helps faculty visualize and uncover existing patterns in your D2L data. It’s a great tool for promoting student success, allowing you to review frequently missed quiz items, see patterns of student attendance, quickly identify students who need extra help, and more. Come to this introductory session to learn more about how to access and navigate uHoo Analytics.

          KSU students may experience emotional, physical, and/or financial struggles during their time at KSU. The middle of the semester as well as the upcoming holidays can be a stressful time for our students. Come to this interactive session to learn more about supporting your students' wellbeing and the Division of Student Affairs' You Matter Campaign. We will also cover information on the new YOU@Kennesaw Wellbeing App that faculty and staff can use and help share campus resources with students using the app.

              Data Interpretation & Use of uHoo for Your Annual Review

              December 6, 2024

              10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

              In this session, faculty will learn how to interpret data on their uHoo dashboards and use it to diagnose student or course challenges. This will provide you with a deeper understanding of how to make sense of these data for supporting students and making course revisions. Additionally come learn how this data can also be used as documentation of supporting student success in Annual Review or P&T portfolios.
