Developing and sustaining an inclusive classroom climate is paramount to ensuring the success of our diverse student population, but have you considered how your assessment practices may not be reinforcing your goals for equity and inclusion? In his book, Grading for Equity: What It Is, Why It Matters, and How It Can Transform Schools and Classrooms, Joe Feldman guides us in seeking out the answer to that question. The first twenty registration will receive a free copy of the book. Join us for this book chat group and let’s consider how equitable our own grading practices are and discover ways we can design and deliver equitable assessments of student learning.
