  • Campus Awareness, Resource & Empowerment (CARE) Services offers four 
    programs to support KSU students and the community: Basic Needs Pantries, 
    Emergency Assistance, Case Management, and ASCEND.

  • CPS provides a variety of services to KSU students including counseling, psychiatric 
    services, case management, off-campus resources, 24/7 mental health support,

  • CETL supports the integrated professional development of KSU graduate students, 
    full- and part-time faculty, and administrators throughout their careers. We offer 
    programs and services rooted in learning sciences, human development, 
    organizational development, and assessment theory.

  • The department of Career Planning and Development assists students with every 
    aspect of the job search: from exploring different career pathways, to preparing 
    resumes and practicing interview skills, and connecting with employers.

  • Digital Learning Innovations is a multi-faceted department that provides various 
    services and resources related to digital and technology-enhanced learning.

  • “You Matter” is a suicide prevention and mental health program, aiming to reduce the stigma around addressing depression and thoughts of suicide among college students.

  • Global Education leads KSU's international endeavors by collaborating with and 
    supporting faculty, staff, and students through globally focused programs, research, 
    and local-to-global partnerships.

  • The Graduate College supports the delivery of innovative graduate admissions along with strong programs that meet students’ needs. They are also responsible for assisting with and processing applications for graduate faculty status.

  • The Department of Museums, Archives and Rare Books is comprised of five units: the Special Projects Team (KSU Center), the Bentley Rare Book Museum (Sturgis Library), University Archives and Special Collections (Sturgis Library), Records and Information Management (Sturgis Library), and the Museum of History and Holocaust Education (KSU Center). Serving more than 400,000 patrons a year, MARB supports students and faculty through programs, exhibits, internships, and outreach that serves as a bridge between KSU and local, regional, and international communities. 
     
    The University Libraries are comprised of two sites: Sturgis Library on Kennesaw's Campus and Johnson Library on Marietta's campus.  Through collections, instruction, and outreach, the University Libraries  support undergraduate and graduate programs and assist faculty, staff, and students in conducting and disseminating their research.

  • The Dean of Students Office helps students overcome barriers that impede their academic and personal success through guidance, problem solving, navigating the university and referring to resources.

  • KSU's Office of Sustainability works to integrate sustainable principles and practices 
    in every aspect of the university including operations, research, academics, and 
    students' experiences.

  • Office of Undergraduate Research promotes collaborative research between 
    students and faculty at KSU with funding, conferences, workshops, online resources, 
    and more.

  • OwlSwap is a sustainability initiative that operates two FREE clothing closets 
    (professional and everyday wear) accessible to students, staff & faculty. Experiential 
    learning opportunities available.

  • The SMART Center specializes in peer-based tutoring services for over 80 courses 
    across the University curriculum. The center operates a drop in service located on 
    both campuses as well as online six days a week.

  • SDS can assist with understanding Faculty Notification Letters from students with 
    disabilities, academic accommodations, and testing procedures. SDS can also 
    provide additional training and workshops.

  • Student Success Programs provides a suite of services to all students at Kennesaw State University that promote academic, personal, and professional success.

  • The Department of Student Volunteerism & Service facilitates intentional service 
    experiences that promote positive stewardship of our community and develop 
    students as engaged, responsible citizens.

  • Student-Athlete Success Services monitors the academic success of our student
    athletes and communicate with faculty on their success.

  • SI Leaders and Learning Assistants provide support to faculty by helping students 
    learn difficult content either inside the classroom (LAs) or by holding study sessions 
    outside of the classroom (SIs).

  • The KSU Writing Center provides one-on-one help with writing for any assignment in any class. The Writing Center includes the English Language Program and the Graduate Writing Program.

Here are some additional units who will not be at the resource fair for KSU faculty to utilize. 

  • Consider convening a class session in the Zuckerman Museum of Art [ZMA] at Kennesaw State University to broaden your students’ perspective on curricular content by allowing them to experience and view a course module through a new and creative lens. Elizabeth Thomas, Education and Outreach Coordinator at the ZMA, is seeking to engage with faculty who are interested in introducing innovative strategies to their courses utilizing the visual arts and/or artistic experiences.   • The Kennesaw State University Travel Team is a division of the Office of Fiscal Services, Procurement and Payment Services Department. Team members are available to answer questions by phone or email, to provide information to KSU employees related to travel policies and procedures. Specific support is provided in the use of Concur, which is the web-based travel application used for travel authorizations, booking and expense reporting. Our goal is to assist travelers from the start to prepare for safe, cost-effective travel on behalf of the university, and end by returning your reimbursable expenses in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Since its creation in 2013, the Part-Time Faculty Council (PTFC) has been working diligently to advocate on behalf of all KSU part-time faculty. We are committed to the advancement of all part-timers at KSU, so please let us know if you have specific concerns. Also, please consider getting involved.
