The happiest and most successful academics are those who blend professional tasks. This workshop will invite participants to seek ways to merge research interests with traditional academic responsibilities in order to alleviate burnout and envision ways to capture more fully work that they are already doing or would like to be doing. By viewing interests and expertise through the lens of institutional mission statements and initiatives, teacher-scholars find opportunities for engaging in personally satisfying work that also aligns with institutional goals.
