Students have many competing demands for their attention during class time, while studying, and even while taking exams; however, evidence shows that paying attention to mutliple tasks slows performance, and potentially distracting strategies like taking notes on a laptop are not effective. Attend this workshop to discuss the latest research on attention and learn strategies for helping your students stay on task.
