I have papers to grade! Yes, responding to student writing often takes more time than any other teaching responsibility. We want to respond to student writing in meaningful yet efficient ways, but the time and energy we put into this work can be daunting. In this webinar, we will debunk some myths about responding to student writing. We will review assignment design, rubrics, checklists, and commenting protocols. Further, we will identify strategies that work for a range of online writing assignments.
