Active learning has a broad research base supporting its impact on improving student learning (Freeman et al, 2014). You might then wonder - but how do I incorporate active learning effectively into my online course, and what will it look like? Or, how can I incorporate active learning into my every class? In this webinar we will explore what it is that makes active learning work, and experience some simple active learning techniques that can be applied in any discipline and in any teaching modality.
