Undergraduate research is a high-impact educational practice that leads to deep，meaningful learning for students (Kuh，2008). This workshop will focus on how faculty can engage students by mentoring them to be undergraduate researchers，how to work with teams of researchers，and how to embed meaningful undergraduate research experiences into your courses so that they can be counted as part of the It's About Engagement initiative. In particular，findings and resources developed for last year's It's About Engagement Undergraduate Research Faculty Learning Community will be incorporated into the session so that you can benefit from their work in your own planning. – June 27, 2021

Summer is here! What a relief. It is time to take a break，refresh，and live the “great life” of a professor. After all，we get summers off，right? Hmmm…If the joys of summer are not that simple for you，you are not alone! How should we approach summer? Is this the time to rest and recharge? Is it the time to catch up on all of the research and writing left undone this year，or to get a head start on the new year? What if you are teaching one，two，even three summer courses?
This is a lot to figure out，and many of us are more exhausted than ever. Let’s be intentional about summer in Early Career. Working toward Promotion and Tenure is a marathon，not a sprint，and we need to plan accordingly. Join your full-time early career colleagues to plan strategically for summer，including setting goals to help you along your long-term path of success. That includes planning time for significant self-care! – May 14, 2021
