Faculty Mutual Mentoring Groups

Mutual Mentoring Groups, MMGs, provide an opportunity for KSU faculty to build community with like-minded peers and support each other while achieving goals within an area of focus, as defined by the group. Groups meet monthly or bimonthly, according to member preference.

Areas of focus include:

  1. Community, Identity, and Well-being
  2. Leadership
  3. Promotion, Tenure, and Annual Reviews
  4. Research and Creative Activity

MMGs can be structured as accountability groups which provide regular check-in times to discuss progress made toward goals, as learning communities which explore resources and research on each group's selected area of focus, or as combination of these. Members will have access to supporting CETL Faculty Success Community D2L content, including literature selected by KSU subject-matter experts, along with suggested reflection and discussion prompts.
