Working on multi-author projects can extend the reach and scope of research and creative activity and create opportunities for ongoing collaborations. Serving as an editor for projects like these, including edited collections and special issues of journals, fosters growth in project management and mentoring, connections with emerging and established scholars, and expertise in a specific subject area. This webinar will guide participants in the multi-step process of researching topics for multi-author projects, identifying publication venues, drafting calls for proposals/papers (cfps), planning project timelines, and negotiating the writing and publication process, among other topics.
