CETL’s graduate student professional development programming provides support for Graduate Student Teachers to enhance their teaching effectiveness. Leveraging the work of KSU authors, this “Lunch and Learn” highlights the experiences and perspectives of International graduate student teachers and faculty. Through featured stories, participants will explore cultural identities, student perceptions of international instructors, and classroom challenges and opportunities. This event, co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, is intended for International Graduate Student Teachers and International Faculty to meet and discuss successful teaching and learning pedagogies and practices.

Lunch for participants will be provided. Space is limited to 30 participants.

The first 5 instructors to register will also receive a free copy of the book, Experiences of Immigrant Professors: Cross-Cultural Difference, Challenges, and Lessons for Success.
