  • Engaging Students as Scholars: Incorporating Undergraduate Research into Your Course

Once our case is laid out on paper,we need to present it to the chair. Since so much relies on those conversations,we want to make sure we are well prepared for them. This workshop will present strategies to effectively advocate for ourselves,negotiate toward specific goals,and respond with empathy and clarity in case of differing perspectives in order to nurture a long-term relationship with our chair.  –  January 26, 2021

Following years of field-tested strategies by Wendy Laura Belcher in her book,Writing Your Journal Article in Twelve Weeks: A Guide to Academic Publishing Success,the group will be supported by writing and revision activities and regular check-ins collaboration with group members to promote motivation while writing at home.
