Event Type: Webinar

The COVID-19 pandemic laid bare the competing priorities of academic life and forced many to reprioritize commitments and reframe engagement and success in more holistic terms. This reflective process and subsequent realignment of goals, or the Covid Shift, proved to be a significant reckoning. This research-informed and interactive workshop will explore how the careers of women faculty have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including the factors that contribute to work-life imbalance, and provides recommendations for effectively responding to the subsequent disruption to their professional success and personal wellbeing. This workshop leverages research on the gendered impacts of the pandemic and is designed for all individuals who work with, support, and supervise women faculty.
